Understanding your Sigenergy LED indicator lights
A quick guide to what each light on your inverter means, so you can tell at a glance whether your system is running normally.
Understanding your Sigenergy LED indicator lights
Your Sigenergy inverter has four LED indicators on the front panel. Knowing what each light means can help you quickly spot whether your system is running normally or needs attention — and gives you useful information if you need to contact us.
The four indicators
- DC indicator — solar panels side
- AC indicator — grid connection side
- Energy storage indicator — battery
- Signal indicator — connectivity and app
Normal operation
If your system is running as it should, you'll see:
- DC indicator — solid green — solar is running
- AC indicator — solid green — connected to the grid
- Energy storage indicator — green flashing — battery is charging / blue flashing — battery is discharging
- Signal indicator — solid green — connected to the mySigen app and internet
What to watch for
- Any indicator flashing red — a fault has been detected on that side of the system. Note which indicator it is and contact us.
- Any indicator solid red — inverter failure. Contact us immediately.
- Signal indicator off — system is not connected to the internet. Try the WiFi reconnect guide first.
- Signal indicator flashing green — connected to the local app only, not the internet. Usually resolves after a WiFi reconnect.
- DC, AC, or battery indicator solid white/grey — that side is connected but not active. This is normal at night or on heavily overcast days.
When to contact us
Any red light — flashing or solid — that doesn't clear within 30 minutes. Email service@brightearthsolar.com.au with your name, address, and a description of which indicator is affected and what colour or pattern you're seeing.
