How to reconnect your Sigenergy inverter to WiFi
If your mySigen app has lost connection to your system, you can reconnect it to your home WiFi by following these steps. This takes around 10 minutes.
Step 1 — Confirm your WiFi is working. On your phone, open your WiFi settings and confirm your home network is visible and connected. If it isn't, fix your WiFi or modem before continuing.
Step 2 — Restart the inverter. Turn off the AC switch (labelled "Inverter Supply") inside the Sigenergy Gateway. Then open the left-side cover of the inverter and turn the DC switch to OFF. Wait 3–5 minutes. To restart, turn the DC switch back ON first, then the AC/Inverter Supply switch. Wait a few minutes — the inverter will activate its hotspot automatically once it's back on.
Step 3 — Open the mySigen app. Tap Settings (bottom right corner).
Step 4 — Open Network Configure. Under Settings & Tools, tap Network Configure.
Step 5 — Tap Next. The app will show a "system is offline" screen. Tap Next.
Step 6 — Scan the QR code. The app opens your camera. Scan the QR code inside the inverter cover, next to the DC switch.
Step 7 — Select "No, I want to connect device hotspot". When the pop-up appears, choose this option.
Step 8 — Tap Next, then Connect. Your phone will connect to the inverter's hotspot. Tap Connect when prompted.
Step 9 — Select your home WiFi network. Scroll to find your network name and tap it.
Step 10 — Enter your WiFi password and tap Join.
Step 11 — Done. A tick will appear next to your network name. Tap Finished.
