Sigenergy routine maintenance schedule

Your Sigenergy system is designed to run with minimal intervention, but a few routine checks help ensure it keeps performing well over its lifetime. Most of these are visual inspections rather than technical tasks.

If you ever find something that looks wrong during any of these checks, don't attempt to repair it yourself — contact us and we'll arrange an assessment.

Every 3 months — system cleaning

Check whether the decorative cover or cooling fan on your inverter is blocked or dusty. Clean it if needed. Use a dry cloth or soft brush only — do not use wire brushes or anything that could cause electric shock or scratch surfaces. Power the system off before cleaning.

Every 6 months — visual and operational check

With the system running, check for any visible damage or deformation to the inverter or battery unit. Listen for any unusual noises during operation. Open the mySigen app and confirm the system parameters and working mode are set correctly.

This check does not require powering the system off.

Every 6–12 months — electrical connections

With the system powered off, visually inspect the cable terminals to confirm they are firmly connected. Check cable sheathing for any signs of damage or wear, and ensure any unused cable entry holes are properly sealed. This check should be done every 6 months for a new system, then annually thereafter.

Every 6–12 months — grounding

Check that the grounding cable is securely and correctly connected. This does not require powering the system off. Same schedule as electrical connections — every 6 months initially, then annually.

A note on servicing

Do not open the inverter casing, battery unit, or any internal components yourself. All servicing beyond the visual checks above must be carried out by a qualified technician. If you'd like to schedule a maintenance visit, email us at service@brightearthsolar.com.au.
